Lauren Littauer Briggs has been helping hurting hearts for over 25 years through peer support groups, medical seminars and The Compassionate Friends organization. Through her own experience of grief and loss — including the deaths of two brothers when she was an elementary age child — she has discovered and distilled the keys to offering support in her book, The Art of Helping — What to Say and Do When Someone is Hurting.?

Lauren has traveled many paths–speaking, leading and coaching–and has nurtured many others along her life’s journey. Lauren reflects her motto, “Every Day is a Gift,” in her personal involvement with others and to large and small audience across the country.? She lovingly and truly walks her talk as she speaks and writes on topics such as; helping, choices, contentment, marriage, parenting and grief.
