John Pete is a certified grief counselor and founder of www.MyGriefSpace.Net which he started in 2006 in response to a need for an online community promoting peer-support for coping and healing following loss. The site has quickly grown to over 1300 members, and counting. John and www.MyGriefSpace.net happily partners with The Open To Hope Foundation to support those grieving the loss of a loved one(s), as well as those helping others to cope and find healing following loss.,
In January, 2008 John appeared on “Healing The Grieving Heart” with Dr’s Gloria and Heidi Horsley to discuss “Healing Through Service.” He is currently developing a series of grief-related workshops and frequently blogs about grief, spirituality and healing, including the Open To Faith blog for The Open To Hope Foundation.
