Ken Brack is a grieving dad and narrative nonfiction author moved by how people grow through catastrophic ordeals. His new book Especially For You tells the uplifting stories of people who find a new purpose following unspeakable loss, which is grounded in his family’s experience. A native of Natick, Ma., he blogs for Psychology Today and other publications, and in 2008 along with his wife co-founded a nonprofit bereavement center, Hope Floats Healing and Wellness Center, in Kingston, Ma., in memory of their son Michael.
