Comfort Shields
Comfort Shields is the author of Surviving Ben’s Suicide: A Woman’s Journey of Self-Discovery. She has an M.Phil in Social and Cultural Anthropology from Oxford University and a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College. The author of two children’s books published by Penguin, she has worked in publishing in New York City and taught in Connecticut. She grew up in Lake Forest, Illinois, and currently lives in Fairfield County, Connecticut, with her family. Comfort is currently at work on another book.
