I enjoyed seeing the interview with Arnie and Kathy Sparnins; they are a wonderful pair and their film, Voices of Grief, is a beautiful tool for healing and a real asset to local hospices, in particular. I met them last year, and admire their passion for creating a resource to help people who are grieving.
I purchased the film myself (I’m a life coach and a Life Cycle Celebrant in private practice) and have shown it at one of our local churches to 100 people, and at a funeral home’s grief support group of about 14 people. In both instances, people responded to the film with deep interest and heartfelt attention, and the comments afterward were inspiring. I intend to continue showing the film and pairing it with Resilience Art, a grief coloring book that I published last year, as a way of bringing art, music, and ritual together in a meaningful workshop to help people heal their grief.
Arnie and Kathy are special people, and it has been such a joy to get to know them. I am so glad to have found them on this site, and I know that their film is a loving gift to all.
Many blessings to you, Drs. Horsley, for this comforting and informative TV program you have brought to the web; thank you!
