The void left by the death of both parents can be overwhelming, as they are often our primary source of support and guidance. Join host Dr. Heidi Horsley and her co-host Doneley Meris, along with guests Greg Adams and Dr. Jill Harrington, as they speak about parent loss and offer insights from their own professional and personal experiences. Doneley Meris is the Founder and Director of the HIV Arts Network and an adjunct faculty member at NYU and Hunter College. Greg Adams is a Program Coordinator for the Center for Good Mourning and staff bereavement support at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. He is the author of “Adam Gets Back in the Game: A Children’s Storybook About Coping with Grief and Loss.” Dr. Jill Harrington is an Assistant Professor at Marymount University and serves on the board of directors for the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC). She is the creator and lead editor of the book “Superhero Grief: The Transformative Power of Loss.”
