Have you had a loved one or family member killed or injured by traffic violence?  Join Dr. Gloria and Dr. Heidi Horsley and their guests Amy Cohen, Dr. Regine Bateson, and Ana Theis to learn about the. National movement supporting all those who are personally impacted by traffic violence.  Amy Cohen, Co-Founded Families for Safe Streets after her 12-year-old son Sammy was killed crossing the street in a pedestrian zone. Dr. Regina Bateson is an assistant professor in the political science department at the University of Colorado Boulder, who conducted a long-term study of Families for Safe Streets.  Ana Theis is a caseworker who supports Spanish speaking members, and facilitates virtual support gatherings, and a peer mentoring program for Families for Safe Streets.
