National movement supporting all those who are personally impacted by traffic violence.  Amy Cohen, Co-Founded Families for Safe Streets after her 12-year-old son Sammy was killed crossing the street in a pedestrian zone. Dr. Regina Bateson is an assistant professor in the political science department at the University of Colorado Boulder, who conducted a long-term study of Families for Safe Streets.  Ana Theis is a caseworker who supports Spanish speaking members, and facilitates virtual support gatherings, and a peer mentoring program for Families for Safe Streets.
