I lost my 12-year-old son to leukemia in 2003, and it has been difficult as I realize I’ll never see him again. I know that with his unwavering faith he is undoubtedly waiting in Jesus’ arms for when we meet again. In the meantime, I’ve written about his 9-year battle with cancer to reach out to others and inspire them with Matthew’s faith.
Dear Dan,
I’m sorry about the loss of your 12 year old son, Matthew, meaning Gift of God. It seems from his age that your poor young son spent most of his life battling this cancer. It’s so painful as we who have lost a child know.
I hope the video helped a little. I’ll pray for everyone in your family especially you and Matthew’s mother.
